More animals looking for their home for the holidays!
Meet Lika. She is about 4 years old and an all around great dog. She loves dogs, cats, kids and everyone. She’s a real Christmas party animal! She’s a great companion while you’re hiking or driving around delivering Christmas cheer.
Lika is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations.

We walked several dogs last week. She was the sweetest, best trained dog of the bunch! If we lived full time on island I would adopt her immediately!! Please someone go check her out!!

Tickets are now on sale for our 2025 Gala "Sunset Soiree" on Saturday February 8th from 6-9PM at The CliffHouse Villa in Peter Bay.
Tickets are $175 in advance and $200 at the door. Tickets can be purchased either by stopping by the ACC office or by phone at (340) 774-1625. They can be purchased in advance for at the door pick up as well. Tickets also will be on sale at St. John Hardware, and The Pelican Post.
We are hoping for a wonderful night to benefit the ACC. As in years past our online auction will be running leading up to the gala (please stay tuned for more details regarding that) There will also be a raffle and silent auction the night of the event. The gala will have both live music and DJ, delicious food from Coral Bay Catering, and wonderful drink options from CC1 Virgin Islands.
There will be a complimentary shuttle service from the Trunk Bay parking lot to the villa. Carpooling is appreciated.
We hope you can come out and support us and help raise funds and awareness for the dogs and cats of St. John.
Cookie and Tricky made it to Charlotte NC and are so happy to be there!
Thank you to Halfway There Rescue for taking a chance on our small shelter and these sweet pups. Thank you to Kensey Davidson for getting this all started. She came in to walk with us while on vacation, met these cuties and called the rescue on their behalf. This was possible because of you Kensey. Thank you to all who donated to cover their expenses.
We do miss the dogs when they go but that’s the goal right? Finding homes for these animals is why we do what we do. We know they will find their family soon.
Thank you so much for all you and ACC have done, Ryan! I feel so lucky to get to be a part of their journey to their forever home! Tricky has not stopped giving kisses and Cookie has not stopped playing with Tricky 😂 We will keep everyone updated on how their adoption journey goes!

The Animal Care Center (ACC) of St. John is located in Cruz Bay. The ACC addresses the problems of cruelty to, neglect and abuse of island animals. The shelter provides kennels for homeless dogs and inside cages for a limited number of homeless cats.
The ACC is a stable resource for the community, providing a no-kill shelter for homeless animals, a resource for animal lovers to find perfect pets, programs for island needs, and a community educational component.
